
Ingredients:
- 1 box (1 pound) Bow Tie pasta noodles
- 12 oz. Homemade Pesto sauce (store bought is perfectly fine to use)
- 2 large chicken breasts (cooked and shredded)
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 cubes of chicken bullion
Directions:
- Place the chicken breast in a crock pot with 1/2 cup of water and 2 bullion cubes. Set on low for 6-8 hours. Skip the crock pot step if you buy precooked shredded chicken.
- After 6-8 hours remove the chicken and shred. Place the shredded chicken in a bowl and set aside.
- In the meantime begin boiling the water for the pasta. Once water is boiling add pasta. Stirring occasionally for 7-10 min.
- While the water is coming to a boil pour the pesto sauce in a 1 qt sauce pan and set on medium heat and bring to a simmer.
- Once pasta is tender, drain and add the olive oil, pesto sauce and chicken. Mix well and serve with garlic bread. Top your pasta with grated Parmesan cheese, if you choose.
