JoAnn’s Pea and Peanut Salad

I am not a big fan of peas, but my Mother-In-Law always made this salad for potlucks and holiday gatherings. I eventually tried it and, believe it or not, it was good! Now, I occasionally make it for gatherings.

Just remember, as with any peanut dish, as the dish sits the peanuts begin to lose their crunch. This dish is best made and served the same day.

Ingredients:

1 bag frozen Peas (20oz.)
1 pound Redskin Peanuts
1 tsp. Worshtershire Sauce
½ tsp. Garlic Salt
1/2 cup Mayonnaise
2 cup Sour Cream

Directions:

Defrost peas, drain and set aside. Mix all other ingredients except peanuts. Stir in peas, Peanuts (1 1/2c.). Top with 1/2 cup peanuts to Garnish.

Eat within 2-3 hrs for best results.
