Baked Turkey Panini

This baked panini is completely interchangeable. You can use the meat, cheese and fillings of your choice.

Ingredients:

  • 1 (17.8 oz.) can/roll of pizza dough
  • 8 slices of provolone
  • 6 strips of bacon
  • 20-25 slices of deli turkey
  • 2 Tbsp of butter, melted.
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Garlic salt

Directions:

  • Unroll the pizza dough, but leave in the rectangular form. Stretch it out using a rolling pin (keeping its rectangular shape).
  • Cut 1” angled strips along each side of the rectangle leaving about 6-8” in the center for the fillings.
  • In the center add turkey, bacon and cheese. Fold up the bottom center over the fillings and begin braiding the 1” strips.
  • Cross the strips all the way up the panini. Once you reach the top fold the top over the last two braids.
  • Combine the butter and garlic salt in a small microwave safe bowl. Place in in the microwave for 10-15 seconds or until mostly melted. Stir and then brush over the panini covering completely.
  • Sprinkle with parsley (optional). Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 min. Or until golden brown.
  • Cut into wide slices and serve.
