Because I work full time I am in love with my crockpot so the first recipe I would like to start with is an Italian crockpot dish I found on a website that my family gave ♥️♥️♥️♥️(4/5).

https://laurenslatest.com/crockpot-italian-chicken-pasta/

Ingredients:

1 onion (chopped)
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1.25 pounds chicken tenders
salt and pepper (to taste)
25 oz marinara sauce (one jar)
12 oz cream cheese
1 tsp Italian Seasoning*
2 bay leaves
1 lb pasta

Directions:

  1. Add diced onion, garlic, chicken breasts, cream cheese, marinara sauce, and some seasonings into a cold crockpot.**
  2. Cover and cook on high 3-4 hours. If your crockpot runs hot, you might want to check the chicken for doneness at 2 1/2 hours.
  3. Once the chicken is cooked, remove, shred and return back to crockpot. At this point remove the bay leaves as well. Stir to melt cream cheese into sauce completely.
  4. Toss with freshly cooked pasta and serve.

Spooky Halloween Candles

I bet you thought my craft was going to involve elbow noodles and some string!

Just because it’s National Noodle Day doesn’t mean Pool noodles should be left out.

Because it’s October what fun would it be if we did something other than a Halloween craft!

Supplies:

  • 2-3 Pool noodles (depending on the sizes d width you want you candles)
  • Glue gun
  • Glue sticks
  • Paint (color of your choice)
  • Rubber bands
  • Battery operated tea light candles (as many as you would like)
  • Accessories (to make it spooky)

Directions:

Buy a few pool noodles, cut them in different sizes and wrap rubber bands around the entire stack.

Then, use your hot glue gun to create fake wax dripping down your candles and hot glue the flameless candles on the top of each pool noodle. After your finished with these steps, the it’s time to get the kids involved!

Using the spray paint color of your choice, spray each noodle covering it completely from top to bottom and let dry. Then add other decorations to make your project even spookier!

Here are some spooky ideas to add to your candles:

  • Webbing
  • Spiders
  • Red paint for blood
  • Skulls
  • Sound boxes
  • Witch hat
  • Dracula teeth
  • Moss
